As a part of Germany’s klangkultur off the booth they refer to him as DJ LukasMoH or, on this Earth, as Hans Opolony. He came from humble roots in a small German town, but his story is one of inspiration and a never give up attitude and, a passion. Born in a musically immersed multicultural background in which the pre electronic influences of the late 80’s early 90’s stylish hip hop culture sprawled, with the influences of American soldiers at a young age he gave birth to this rhythmic sensitivity.

As a result, the Love Parade That Changed Everything.

The life changing moment for Lukas’s musical career happened in 1994. Once he’d been to the legendary Love Parade in Berlin then he was hooked, all he could think was electronic dance music. Beats and electrifying energy poured out of it into pumping him further and further underground into the electronic world.

Lukas found a creative playground to create and to let loose the taste of raw inspiration on home soil Weiterstadt. Through these legendary party, he even learnt about the partito underground from first class people like Ricardo Villalobos. Finally, he visited iconic events: LoveFamilyPark, Green & Blue, TunnelRave, Sounds of Frankfurt, Street Parade in Zurich and NatureOne.

The Transition from Fan to Artist

By the late 1990’s he had moved from an avid fan of this music to a very talented DJ. Performing, he was called DJ LukasMoH and delivered his fans a mix of Techno, Tech House and Deep House. And his sets stopped being performances, and started to be the journeys of hypnotic rhythms, emotional depth and fluid transitions. He was also just the guy you would have wanted to make effortless a new soundscape capable of telling a story and every dance floor into one indelible occasion.

A Blend of Music and Precision

Lukas meanwhile is also a mechanic but dj’s all over the world, in Mörfelden Walldorf he’s sizing up the special machinery market. He’s a methodical musician as much as he’s technical and meticulous about mechanics, but just as creative as a music producer. Precision on beat, precise transition, a precise melody with precision.

That’s proof that Andrei’s very versatile and creative through his discography.
